This statue was originally custom carved to be a representation of John the Baptist... many have said this statue reminds them of Jesus, so we've simply named it 'Come Unto Me'. John the Baptist said, 'Come unto me to be baptized by water', Jesus said 'Come unto Me to be born in the Spirit'. So, however you are moved by this statue is personal to you.

Timeless Works of Art
This statue is hand carved from a solid piece of premium hunan marble. Since each statue is hand carved they will vary slightly. Premium hunan marble is white with a soft, light gray veining through it.

For the Home and Garden
Since our statues are carved from solid marble (not cast from bonded marble or any synthetics) it is safe to use outdoors exposed in weather. The weight of the statue will vary depending on the pose, but in general on a single figure statue an average weight is: 30" Tall - 120 pounds; 40" Tall - 225 pounds; 50" tall - 375 pounds; 60" tall - 550 pounds; 70" tall - 900 pounds.
